SOHO HO HO: SOHO TAVERN’S CHRISTMAS TRANSFORMATION

Stepping into the brand-new Soho Tavern Mere Green this Christmas is like entering a world where classic warmth meets bold, modern flair

Our inspiration began with their signature burnt orange palette, a rich foundation we elevated with layers of deep reds, luxe gold accents and festive textures. Just as Soho Tavern defines itself as tradition meeting innovation, we aimed to mirror that spirit in every detail of the installation.

Guided by their motto, “elevating your dining experience to new heights,” we designed a festive concept with several key focal areas that not only decorate the space, but enhance the entire dining journey.

ELEVATING THE EXPERIENCE WITH BOLD DESIGN To bring this festive experience to life, we designed five distinct feature areas, each created entirely from scratch.

Beginning outdoors, the first thing that catches the eye, whether from across the street or at the restaurant door, is the building wrapped in oversized gift boxes. These are not ordinary decorations; they’re large, show-stopping custom-made statement presents, crafted to transform the entire exterior into a playful, eye-catching spectacle. To welcome guests in, we built an arch using real greenery. Leading on and framing the building are real Christmas trees wrapped in lights to welcome guests with an instant sense of magic.

Stepping indoors, the festive storytelling continues as guests are greeted by a decorated Christmas tree display, setting the tone for the interior journey ahead. As they move deeper into the restaurant,

they pass beneath a second, equally immersive indoor arch that mirrors the outdoor design and compliments the Christmas tree display, tying the theme together throughout the space.

At the heart of it all sits the installation’s hero piece: a custom, hand-built sleigh, complete with Santa himself, dressed in the Soho Tavern uniform, holding the iconic mixed grill tongs.

This quirky, playful twist doesn’t just make for a perfect photo moment; it celebrates the restaurant’s personality in the most unforgettable way.

SEAMLESS EXECUTION:

IN-HOUSE DESIGN THAT MOVES QUICKLY Every detail of this installation was brought to life entirely in-house by our team, ensuring full creative control from concept to completion.

The journey began with a site visit, followed by to-scale CAD drawings and a moodboard that allowed Soho Tavern to clearly envision the transformation ahead. Once approved, we sourced and curated all materials before bringing the project into our studio, where each element, from the oversized presents to the bespoke sleigh, was hand built, spray-finished and customised to our design specification.

The Soho Tavern Christmas installation didn’t just transform the space, it created measurable buzz and excitement around the brand. The first social media post showcasing the festive décor has already reached 45,000+ views, driving online engagement and building anticipation for the

restaurant’s grand opening. On-site, every passer-by was captivated by the oversized gift boxes and arches, sparking conversations and curiosity about the launch date. By combining high-impact commercial décor, seasonal installations, and immersive holiday design, we helped Soho Tavern Mere Green generate visibility, foot traffic, and social media engagement before even opening the doors.
